What is Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the ancient Indian science of life. It is rooted in the prevention of illness and disease through the practice of right diet and lifestyle changes to support the whole body. It has long been known as yoga's sister science and that they are the two sides of the same coin. The goal of Ayurveda is optimal living and yoga's goal is self-realization. As the two work hand in hand the outcome of working with both practices is balance of body, mind and spirit.
